i was wondering what i would have to do for fuel when swapping a 16G into my 1g GSX?

You are going to need a fuel pump, injectors, and some sort of fuel management. For a fuel pump get a 190 or 255. If you do go with the 255 you will need an AFPR. For injectors I suggest 650's. For fuel management it is best to go with DSM link but an AFC will work well also.

I have a Big 16G on my '92 Talon TSi and I use pump fuel with 550cc injectors, a 255lph high-pressure pump and a manual fuel pressure regualtor. The 550's are much easier to tune than 650's or bigger, but if you ever feel you'll want to make more power I would suggest just getting the bigger injectors now because you'll have about the same amount of money wrapped up.

No, DSMLink is not a standalone. It replaces your eprom chip and allows you to make certain changes. With the link, you can tune ANY injectors just as easily as you can the 550's. So evaluate your future goals and buy the appropriate injectors now. You can get away with only the fuel pump(190) and the link unless you plan on running more than 18 psi.:thumb:

Depending on the the 16g you choose and your money situation you dont need to replace the injectors or have dsmlink, i am running a small 16g now with a walboro 190 and i have no problems at all

Evo 3 16g 270 FWHP / 258lbs tq @ 17psi Set up:

Supra TT fuel pump (outflows 255 supposedly)
NRG FPR
550cc injectors (daily driver, not going over 310 WHP with this engine)
S-AFC II Extremely easy to tune, spend the money for an hour of dyno session though,
Dyno's = horsepower... no matter what you put in your car, tuning it is the key.
