I just pulled a motor out of a 95 rs and I notice the fuel filter is the same one in a turbo model but when I put it in the 98 rs I noticed that there wasn't a fuel filter there at all and I was wanting to know if it didn't come with one or did the previous owner delete it?

They should all have a fuel filter no matter what model, or year it is. I'm not sure if it is the exact same filter as the turbo model, but there should definitely be a filter there.

*** edit *** I just remembered that the turbo models are under the hood, but the 420a has it in the back on the passenger side under the car. It is only under the hood of 95 420a cars.

95's are odd when it comes to the NT's.

Yea, 96+ are in the rear.

Yeah the 95s are weird. 96-99 have them underneath the car close to the passenger tire. Keep your eye out for a bunch of little things like that, if my memory serves me right, I think the vacuum lines are also different. Lastly none of the different years ECU's are compatible.

So can someone enlighten me with the exact location of the fuel filter in a 95 RS/GS 420a motor??
