fuel filter?

My friend owns a 97 Eclipse RS and he doesnt know where the fuel filter is located. I used to own 2 2g but never had to replace FF. IF you can help me out , I Would really appreciate it.

Right now I have 3G and Fuel Filter is inside the gas tank, but i have a feeling 2g might be different.

the 97 is right next to the tank on the pass. it is kinda between the tank and the inside of the wheel well.

thats what im here for. it is easy to see and besides the lines going in and out there is 2 bolts that hold it in.

Might be a bit easier to find if you were to suggest looking under the car on the passenger side just in front of the rear wheel well.

I didn't know that... doesn't the gas go from the hole in the side into the motor?
