420A Fuel Filter bracket rust problems

Hey, it’s my first time owning an eclipse, and when I bought it I knew it had a gas leak, comes out to be the fuel filter, I ordered everything I needed but as I try to take the filter out, I noticed the part where the filter mounting bracket holds on too is pretty rusted and weak, I been doing my research but I still have no idea on what the part is called

97 eclipse gs so it has the fuel filter on the passenger side

For discontinued original parts, like the bracket, Stevie Miller is going to be your friend. His yard has a multitude of DSMs and Eclipses from which to pull what you need.

He doesn’t respond often to messages on here, so leave one for him on his Miller FB page, and he’ll connect with you.

The parts are in good condition, but may need a cleanup and a coat of paint to discourage future rusting.
