General Fuel cut

Hey im looking to find some help as to why im hitting fuel cut. Im running MAFT with 3 inch gm MAF and tuning with tuner pro. Even when i scale the fuel cut back in the program i hit fuel cut anything over 30psi. SO to eliminate that im scaling back my maft on the WOT knob to fool the air flow numbers. BUt then that proves to give timing problems as we all know.
I have NO boost leaks as thats the only thing that i know would cause fuel cut.
Anybody have any insight on this?
Or is DSM LINK in my near future?

Are you sure it's fuel cut? Have you ruled out the ignition? Checked fuel pressure? Any way of logging I am not familiar with "tuner pro". If you have logs post them up.

Yes we need more info. Are you running the extended maps? You need to be. Are you sure its fuel cut? Look in the files on the dsm ecu yahoo group. Find the article on extended maps and do it. Then no op the fuel cut code out.

Hey, Yes i know its fuel cut cause i've had it before. And I AM running the exended maps in the tuner pro but seem to have that maxed out too, as im only using the top row now. I cant log as of yet either but its not ignition related or fuel related as when i scale back the MAFT it goes away.
I think its time for DSM link and some speed density.
Im not sure how far guys have pushed tuner pro mabe im at the point where its time to upgrade.?? DYNOED 485 on a mustang dyno so around 550whp on DYNOJET.

ANYONE pushed this program this far? Mabe im just flowing to much air?

Have you just pushed fuel cut to the maximum limit in tunerpro, or did you actually change the code to remove it all together?

There's two ways to disable fuel cut in the code. The best way is to change the '24' at 559B to '21', which bypasses the fuel cut routine. I've maxed out the extended maps regularly and never hit fuel cut. Make sure you're not getting rich misfires, which can feel like fuel cut.

Honestly if you already use Tunerpro you're less than $100 away from running speed/density with Jackal.
