I am really new to the DSM world and saying that i have a apexi safc on a stock fuel system. When i got the car this was already on it. After installing a manual boost controller i turned it up from 11psi to what 16psi, I went passed it a little and it hit 18 psi and hit fuel cut. I bumped fuel pressure so not to run lean. It threw a check engine code saying to was running rich. But still hit fuel cut. I now own a 255 walbro "goes on today" and am looking to buy some 550's after that what do i need to do to tune it? Or how do I tune it. Any and all help would be great.

PS i went from a b series swap hatch to a gst and am never going back. I love my dsm.

I also have some other mods like equal length header, front mount.
 
Your SAFC will tune up to 650cc injectors. Your fine with tuning. What you do need is a logger of some sort. I hear evoscan is good for 2g's also I would reccomend a Wideband o2. Don't go out and get a narrow band that you can get at autozone they are not worth anything. Your better off getting a wideband for $200 and evoscan and your set to start tuning.

Until you get a logger I would turn the boost down. because I did the same thing with my 90 a while back and this is what happend..
