Whats up guys, Im not sure if this is fuel cut or not, I recently installed a godspeed fmic and hallman boost controller. The boost controller is set at 15 psi and not everytime but about half of the time it cuts out for a split second and I was thinking this was fuel cut but I just finished putting a wideband in it and anytime im givin it moderate gas its running at 10.1 a/f. Then at idle its between 14.1 and 14.9. Could it be that its just so much fuel that there is left over after it fires and it fires off again?

Ok will do. Just curious, why would havin a boost leak make it do that? thanks

Fuel cut has nothing to do with running rich or lean.
And
Any time you touch the intake tract it's a good idea to do a boost leak test.

Easy way to know if it's fuel cut, is if you lower the boost and it doesn't happen.

From my experience, fuel cut predictably happens at a specific boost level. It was EXACTLY 22psi on mine & didn't EVER happen at 21psi.

Good luck

Brick wall from my experience. I thought I hit an invisible moose.

Edit: just realized you were asking OP that question.

When your car hits a ratio of 10:1 it is because the ecu is programmed to do so. Running rich under harder driving conditions lowers the combustion temperature so your engine doesn't get fried.

Also check the CAS mine would do the same thing when it was off felt like You were literally hitting a brick wall.

I don't know if you have done it yet... But has your car passed the boost leak test? It could be a leak in the piping so you see 14psi on the gauge, but your mass air flow sensor is reading way more air than any car ever needs to make that much boost. The ecu then thinks that your turbo is out of control so it cuts fuel as a safety precaution
