would a bad fuel pressure reg. and/or a fuel pressure-up solenoid cause fuel cut at 3500 to 4000 rpm under boost? and ideas on how to fix this?

We could use a little bit more info to post any useful suggestions. What turbo? Injector size? How are you tuning?

Right more info on your car is needed but if you have an aftermarket turbo then you probably need to turn down the boost. If you have a stock gsx then you more than likely have a problem with the fuel system Pump, filter, injectors ect.

As already stated, we need more info. I checked out your profile and theres nothing there showing for any modifications if you have any done. How much boost are you actually pushing? Again as its been stated, what turbo, injectors, etc.?

You can check fuel pressure by renting a gauge from the local auto parts store..

Also maintenence can be key, like a fuel filter..

I would also do a boost leak test.

And as stated you need to update your profile if you have any mods..That would better us to help you..

Why do we need more information? Fuel-cut is an ECU function and the ECU does not have any idea what the fuel pressure is (other than assuming that it's such-and-such all the time), so how could changes in the fuel pressure (alone) cause fuel cut?

Now, I can see how some ECU programming changes done by the owner to compensate for altered fuel pressure could influence fuel cut. I just don't see how fuel pressure (alone) could have any effect.

Also fuel cut is like hitting a brick wall while accelerating..So is that really what you have?

My car started to buck soon after I got it..Changed the fuel filter and haven't had a problem since..Although, I should add that to my list of things to do..

i fixed it.. it was a boost leak. i had a dry-rotted coupler on my charge pipe replaced it fixed the problem. now i have more than 22 pounds of boost.....too much.
