With my 91 eagle talon tsi awd none of the front speakers will work. i know they are not blown because if i hit the side of the radio i can hear the speakers start to play the music. so im gunnaing wires got lose? how do i get to the wires do i need to take the whole dash off?

Ok i REALLY do not think all 4 of my frount speakers blew but i dont know why they wont work the back 2 work fine just the 2 in the door and 2 on dash do not work. if you got any ideas? help me out please. oh yeah eagle talon tsi awd 1991:talon:

I would have to agree. The old radios in our cars are nitorious for having problems.

You can try either using a ohm meter on the speakers to see what they ohm out at or the old ghetto way is to take a drill battery with 2 pieces of wire. Connect one wire to + terminal on speaker and one wire to - terminal on speaker. then lightly touch one wire to + on drill battery and the other to - on the drill battery. If the speaker is good you will see it jump(pop) when you get current to it. Dont hold the wires on there for long as you dont want current going through the speaker for long.

Back in the day we used to plug subs into wall outlets as demonstrations LOL if it was in a sub box damn they were loud.

Haha yeah we used to do that with the JL w7 13" sub....when you use the wall outlet its AC (alternating current) at 60hz and DAMN is that SUPER LOUD!!!! its just a continuous 60hz drop till you unplug it hahaaha

Just buy a new radio bro they are 50 bucks

if you really want the stocker...then go on ebay or Craigslist people sell them for 10 bucks!

To my knowledge yea they will work with the radio. As for the small ones i dont know on your car maybe www.vfaq.com has it on there. Also the boss are kinda cheep I would just do the door speakers an the dash ones latter. you wont beable to tell the difference with out them.

OP Please quit making so many useless threads. You can get answers in your threads you have already started.

Don't buy the BOSS brand unless you like to purchase really expensive magnets because in the end that is all they will be good for.

Do you even know if your stock speakers are dead yet or if it is the radio? No sense buying speakers if the radio doesn't work. Look at your other posts and you can see suggestions I have already given you.

Alex Bland, please stop creating new threads that are merely updates of your other current threads. Just update the ones that are similar in subject.

Ok first of all i wanna say sorry for all the posts about the speakers now i just want to know if there is something that makes the plugs (eagle talon tsi awd) that make them fit the after market radios? if so whats it called i have been looking everywere.:talon:

is that whats it called i looked that up but that looked wrond i just need a little prace to plug in my plug thats in my stock radio right now into something to fit the new radio plug in. (for the speakers)

Most likely there will be extra wires on the adapter that won't match up with the wiring coming from the head unit itself. Just make sure all the connections are solid (soldering is preferred over crimping). The wires on the adapter should be marked for what they are for (power, right front speaker, left rear speaker, etc.) so just try and match them up by that and/or color.

Please work on your spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. It makes it easier for everyone to read and help solve your problems.

I had my dash speakers stop working, rear and door's worked fine, turned out to be the amp. I got a used head unit and amp on e-bay for $30 shipped, i checked the amp first, just pluged in the new one and turned on power, all six speaker worked :)
