1G Front motor mount replace

I'm switching from stock to prothane mounts but I can't get the front motor mounts rubber insert out. Is there any quick efficient way to get it out and the new one in? I've looked throughout the threads and I can't seem to find anybody with this issue.

Sawzall around the circumference of the rubber to clear it out. Then cut through the ring as necessary. Otherwise, burn it out.

Yep, see above. I did the sawzall technique, it went ok. Then chisel cut the metal band that was left.
