Front bumper

I have a 99 silver GSX. I hit a dog and took out the fmic and bumper. I'm replacing it with an oem unit and wondering about the paint. Should i keep the stock black fog light bezels and part above the ic or paint it all silver? Anyone have pics? thanks.

I would paint it all silver. I personally dont have my fog light bezels in and I think it looks better. Try taking them out and see how you feel about it. Also the black piece above the intercooler you can just cut out so that way you get more flow to your intercooler. I think it looks better and of course the little extra air flow never hurts. Here is a picture of my bumper with the cut out "black piece" where the intercooler goes.

I agree about cutting the little mustache off for the intercooler, a couple of my friends have it off and looks good. If not painting it the color of the car looks good. As far as the foglight bezels go, I painted them white on my car and didnt like them, I would keep them black.

I think it looks good as is. I second cutting the "mustache" out though, I think it would look better without that.

Thanks for the input. Still can't decide. Think i may get them painted and if I don't like it paint them black. No extra for painting everything. Allstate paid me $1200 for the greddy small front mount and I got the $400 punishment racing short route to replace. Jackpot.

BTW f*** the dog! shouldn't have been in the road.

I agree cut off the black piece. I don't have fogs but kept the bezel because I don't like the look of it without the bezel.

i cut my "mustache" out too and personally i like it without the fog light bezzels.

I agree with cutting the mustache, but i left my bezels as well, imo it looks good with them in. I threw a steel black grille in as well
