Front Bumper

Ok im starting to order the parts i need to put a new front bumper on my car and fix what broke from my wreck. I was looking today and saw theres a styrafoam pad behind the front bumper.....is this important to have and where would i be able to get a new one? Thanks for any help.

I'm sure you can find them online, you should have it, but if you don't have any success try a junk yard. Any eclipse not wrecked in the front will be an easy pickup for real cheap. goodluck!

If your ordering parts, just inquire as to how much a new one would cost. If I remember right, theinsert isn't very expensive, and costs more to ship. I'd say order one, because the time you spend looking for a good front end, and than removing the bumper to get to it will cost you more in your time, and labor than to just order it.

The styrafoam insert is just a low speed impact panel. If you bump someone, it wont spider crack the paint.
