Front bumper body repair

Hey guys I have a question for painting a Front bumper. This is for a 95 GST that I just got, Anyways this bumper I have is from a 97-99 (Paul Walker got a hold of this car so I am changing it all back to OEM) and it is scratched up and actually has a hole in one spot. I was wondering what materials I will need to get this bumper smooth again and how to patch the hole. I have done a little body work but it was always metal where in this case the bumper is plastic.

If its a stock bumper then its made of urethane; which is a very flemsy, rubbery material. I'm not exactly sure how you would go about repairing such a material, since most anything you put on it will crack when it flexes. Its also very hard to paint.

Yeah I have been googling it a little and it seems that they actually make something just for urethane bumpers. I guess I will just have to try it out and play around a little. I wouldnt go to all this trouble but a 97-99 bumper is hard to find in the midwest and I got it for 50 bucks... the shape is good (not bent or warped) but it just needs a little work to make it perfect.

i've patched one hole in mine too with fiberglass... greatjob an it has never crack or falled off
