I tried to search and nothing gave me anything that helped so I'm starting my own thread.
I just did a 6 bolt swap into a 95 gsx I have fuel and spark to all 4 cyl and I am getting power to the ECU and auxiliaries. When I crank the car it sounds like it wants to start but it wont. Every once in a while when cranking the car will get a power drop like the battery is dying then it will come right back up. Everything that I can find is connected and receiving power. I can post a dsmlink chart if you think it will help, as well as a video. Any help would be great.

*add on*
pulled the plugs again and #4 cyl had smoke coming out, not a puff or a light wisp but smoke. All 4 plugs have black build up on them that almost looks like oil but smells like fuel.

So I tried to find where the power drain is coming from and I disconnected the coolant temp sensor and I was hearing a rapid 3 clicks form the throttle body when we were plugging and un-plugging it. I left it unplugged and cranked it and it did better then it did with it plugged in.

Make sure you do the wire swap with dsm link go on google and type dsmlink wire swap and also make sure under misc tab in link the none 95/97 or whatever it is that box is checked off I just finished my 6 bolt swap :)

Here the wire swap link swapplugwires [ECMTuning - wiki]

Wires are swapped and box is checked.

Update to previous.
I got the car to start last night by fixing my dead time on the injectors and swapping the wires and checking the box (before I only had the box checked) The car starts but it wont idle very well it is extremely lumpy and only around 1k. I try to bring the RPMS up a bit to smooth it out and it just jumps in RPM quickly. It started a few times then all of a sudden it stopped starting all together and now it is back to just cranking. coolant temp sensor seems to be working fine it was reading what seemed appropriate the whole time but I found the sound was coming from my IAC I guess? Whatever the thing is on the bottom of the throttle body that acts like a choke. I am trying to get my hands on a compression tester today to verify good compression, after that I am all out of ideas

when i had my 6 bolt in there at first i had the same problems after wire swap i was only getting spark in cly 1 and 4 2 and 3 were dead... next is the CAS MAKE SURE ## WIRING IS DONE CORRECTLY !! since u have a 1995 car u also have to switch the injector wires from the ECU because of the CAS ...here is a link read it carefully and understand it ... i dont think ## a retard sorry just making sure everything is done right :) cause i was having all these problems and i over looked a few things... RRE Instructions ...after u do that ## car should start now for the idling part check ## ICS and here is how to do it DmTaLoN's Idle Speed Control Test/Fix Page! ... i did these things and my car is now idling and actually some what drive-able i hope this helps... also check ## timing a single tooth over can make ## car run link shit ... and also dont over look the first link with the fuel injector swap

I don't have to re wire because I have DSM link so I can just hit the check box for the injectors. the problem is now that in the cranking of the car I bent the intake valves. I believe that all the timing parts on this from the crank pulley all the way up to the cam gears are all from a 6 bolt is there any way that with a 7 bolt head that could make an issue? I am off by 2 teeth and I rotated it for a good 3 minutes by hand before we dropped the motor in the car and it was still dead on the timing marks when I put it in.

yeah im sorry i wasnt much help but i dont know too much about that setup i just did my 6 bolt swap so i thought i could help but i used a 6 bolt head as well so i would know anything about that ... but i do have a friend local who is running a complete 7 bolt motor with a 92 green top CAS .... he also has this capastor or some kind of a dimmer switch on his ecu harness and looks like a knob ??
