franks custom fiberglass

hey guys i was woundering if u have any expericence with franks custom fiberglass? i ordered a crarbon fiber hood from them like a month ago and still nothing they told me like 2 weeks ago it would be delivered and still nothing i call all the time and leave messages no calls back nothing they already took the money out of my account so i dont kno wwhat to do from here i just wanted to know if anyone here has expericence with them do the take long? or do they dick around? ia, getting pretty pissed now its been 2 weeks since it was supposed to be delivered any feedback would be great anybody who has delt with them in the past.. thanks

I haven't ordered from them, but in the past I've heard nothing but the best.
Where in PA do you live? I think they're located in PA also. You could try PM'ing GSXtacy, I believe he knows Frank personally.

I almost ordered a hood from him but I found a better deal on ebay. When I talked to him though he was really nice and answered all of my questions even gave some helpful suggestions. It takes him awhile to get back (took 2 days after I left a message). My friend just ordered from him and he is supposed to get it sometime soon. I'll let you know if he has the same dilemma when I find out.

Sorry to get to this so late but I know Frank personally as well and work with him frequently. He definitely doesn't dick anyone around, a stand-up type of guy he is. Old school Sicilian.

Keep in mind though that he is only one guy down there. He does it all by himself. And believe me when I say he has tons of orders all the time for different types of platforms. He will not rip you off though, little slow maybe but that is due to order amounts but that is the only downside.

And when he doesn't answer the phone it is probally cause he has gloves on that are covered with resin and glass and figures if they leave a message he will get back to it. I have answered the phone plenty for him just to help out so he doesn't have to stop and take a chance of the resin kicking....phone rings all day, he sure does alot of domestic stuff!

Point is he will not rip you off nor take the $$$ and run. Of course you finally gotten thru to him so all is well and accounted for...but now at least others will now the deal if th can't get thru or get a bit antsy for their order. I am in this same boat with the amount of orders I get, might be slow getting it done but it will arrive nicely made and finished. One guy operations are a biotch!!!
