I have just come back from a 2 month hiatus and got my car running again. I had every part out of the car including the harness. My brother backed into my car with his truck and I had to replace the radiator support. While I was doing this I also painted the engine bay, deleted abs, and switched to a non cruise control cable. Everything is back in the car and running I am just having a problem with some vacuum lines. As it sits right now there is a vacuum line running from the intake manifold over to where the purge/boost and fuel solenoids are next to the brake reservoir. It is connected to a t fitting which is also hooked up to my AFPR and my boost gauge line. Is this correct? I have no vacuum lines coming off either solenoid however they are still plugged in. There is no CEL and Link doesnt detect any codes. There are two fittings on the back facing up on the purge solenoid and two fittings that face the front of the car on the fuel solenoid. If I should have these vacuum lines routed a different way please let me know as I am currently playing with a new wideband gauge and I want it to be right before I go down the road trying to make adjustments. Thanks.

The solenoids on the firewall will not set trouble codes in a 1G DSM. You can eliminate them all together depending on your emission laws. The Fuel Pressure Solenoid is only used on warm start ups to help start the car.

Your line should come from the intake nipple to the AFPR. You can "T" the boost gauge between there. Some people run seperate lines for each, its up to you.

so on a fairly stock car you can remove the fuel pressure solenoid all together and just plug the vacuum line off the intake manifold directly to the stock FPR???

im trying to clean up the look of my firewall
