Hey guys! I had a intro thread but I don't know where it went so this I guess is my first official thread.

I recently purchased a tdo5h 20g from hp, I haven't seen a lot of feedback with this particular turbo so I'm hoping to make this thread to take you guys along my experience.

The mods are updated in my profile, I will be going to the track and dyno within the next couple of weeks as I'm finishing the install this weekend.

i'm horribly confused how that waste gate works?? am i just missing something here?

The flapper for the waste gate is inside the housing right behind the welded outlet you see there, so it circulates right to the o2 housing outlet of the turbo. Pretty dumb design IMO but it works I guess.

Dumb design = SRT4 "turbofold".

Works like any other turbo....the turbine housing is just part of the manifold.

For an answer to your second question- ask Chrysler.

Well guys took the car to the track, best run of the night was a 12.9 which was my goal for now. turbo spikes at 20 psi then falls off to about 17 I believe I have a leaky 1g bov cause I hear a wistle, Ill have to do a boost leak test soon, then get the wg from jus and tune for more psi!

Good results I would like to see how this turbo performs at its max. I have the thought of running this turbo but who knows.
