Just wanted to share this with everyone. Be care and check your manifold before you put it on. This would not be good going into the turbo. Don't worry I'm going to grind it down but the only thing that scares me is, I can not see down every runner, so I hope to god there is nothing like this in the one runner I can not see down. May have to get a video scope so I can see down it. Also has anyone else run into this??

If you bought from a reputable source send it back. New should be new. The QA should have caught that. Grind away but I would at least let them know!

You should have contacted them first, posting it on here is bad form.

Why do you say that I was not saying anything bad about them. I just wanted to see if anyone else saw this before... I don't know why people on this site want to jump on people all the time...good lord get off it..

And yes I'm just going to grind it down. Like I said in the OP, it wasn't a huge deal...

^ I agree. I see no problem posting up an issue with a brand new part, especially one that could potentially damage expensive components like the turbo. I'm sure FP would be more than willing to work out the issue, but at the unnecessary cost of shipping and whatnot. Not to say FP is a bad company at all, but this slipped past their quality control and others should be warned about potential issues with their FP manifolds.

I mean, should the OP have quietly dealt with the issue and let others potentially damage their turbo? I think not...

Thank you, WES...Thats all I was trying to do. I love FP. I have their old Green and I am about to buy their intake too. So it was not a hit on them at all. Just wanted to get the word out to be careful, and wanted to see if I was the only one.

Thanks for letting people know. Every part you put on the car should be inspected if possible. I had many quality concerns with top brand parts, some I had to exchange and some I was able to fix just like you did.
