so i just for 650's, a 190 fuel pump, and an safc 2 and was wondering what kind of nimbers i should expect for now??? still on the stock side mount. i was hitting fuel cut before at 15 pounds and was running really slow. should i expect a decent gain with just that? thanks alot

you should expect a lot more... but only because you can now turn up the boost and since you can sorta tune with the SAFC... i would get a wideband to help out with tuning, and maybe later get hard pipes and a intercooler(i dont know if you have them or not)

Yes you will see decent number's as long as the tune is good. I don't like predicting hp numbers and not many here do. Try searching for T-28 dyno or something and I'm sure there's a post already on it.

Should I be worried if I can turn the boost up to 22psi and not hit fuel cut? It knocks pretty bad at those levels but my A/F ratio is still fairly rich(11.2). I run about 18psi on a 255lph and dont have many problems. It might not be fuel cut that youre hitting. Try bringing the gap on your plugs in a tiny bit. My are gapped to .023 right now. When I was gapped to .028, I had some really bad spark blowout.

yea i was looking at getting wideband next to help me out with tuning. this is gonna be my first time so im gonna need all the help i can get. i was thinking 18 ponds would be good for the stock sidemount? im not really worried about numbers i wast wand a quick street car for the highways

We don't bench race here. That includes throwing out guesses as to how much power ____ modification will gain or lose for you. There's no way we can tell.

You should really get your fuel cut/knock issues taken care of before you start adding parts and upping the boost as well. Have you done a boost leak test?

yeah i would recommend a boost leak test. Also check the spark plug gap as you may need to lower it from experiencing blowout. I wouldnt think you would be getting fuel cut at 15psi on a 2g

ill do a boost leak test tomorrow. i made sure all the ic pipes were on good but i know thats not gonna tell me anything. if no leaks ill try the plugs

i probably wouldnt go higher gap than .028 at 15psi. I usually shoot for .025-26 for above that.
