FP BIG t-28

Found a BIG t-28 for sale for pretty cheap. I think i'm gonna jump on it, but before i do, I wanted to ask about supporting mods. I have read many posts about what they consist of, an i believe i have a pretty good understanding of what i'll need, but as far as the capabilities of the Forced Performance BIG t-28, what can I expect.?? At least a noticable bite compared to the stock t-25??

A shop sells the Warlbro 190 for $109, and im gonna look for some 550 injectors, but besides a MBC and eventually SAFC or SAFC II, will i be o.k. on the t-28 for a while with just the pump and injectors?? Besides the Turbo Manifold, my exhaust is stock, and I dont have any aftermarket intercooler piping. I want to do a full 3" turbo back, and a front mount intercooler with short route piping, but id like to keep the stock 2G MAS because i hear it will be fine for anything im going for, and i kinda like the idea of reusing un-used boost preasure through the recirculating of the BOV, and it makes the car a little sleepier too... one of my big questions is, Will the SAFC or SAFC II be a good enough tuning tool for me to reach 300 to 350 wheel horse power on the t-28 with the 550 injectors, Warlbro 190, 3", and front mount.??

I would get some FIC 650cc injectors if your going with the AFC and want 300whp
anything over 680cc becomes harder to tune with the AFC plus these will keep your IDC% down

Get DSMLink and some FIC 750cc injectors please. Skip the AFC

Port your 2g manifold or get an EvoIII manifold if your heart so desires.
Get a full 3" exhaust and keep the 2g mass its more than enough.
Dont spend money you dont have to.
You can try to get that high with an AFC its possible but I would Go DSMLink though.

might think about MBC, Ext. gate, intake, crushing your 1g bov to reach your goal
deff. get a wideband o2 sensor and boost gauge
you dont need a MAFT setup

Obviously, you need to get a boost guage and boost controller to install when you put all of that other stuff on. I'm putting about 330 down at the wheels. I would go with the 255lph fuel pump instead of the 190. I would also recommend upgrading to the 3" MAF and MAFT to better control your fuel and air intake. Other than that, you have a pretty decent list.

I ran my FP Big T-28 on a stock 2g fuel system set at about 15psi with a 6bolt. Cat-back, 3inch cat back, 1g BOV, boost gauge, and MBC. Ran like a champ. If I roled on the power in second gear, it would start to rip the tires loose at the top of second gear. But remember, every car is different...

If I were you, I'd get a fuel pump and injectors off of an evo, you can find them pretty cheap on the evotuners forums, unless you want to max out the turbo and get a big turbo later, in which case go for DSMLink, 255 pump with an AFPR and 1000cc injectors.

The biggest difference you'll notice is that unlike the T25, the Big T28 won't die off after 5500RPMs and will pull all the way to redline.
