Found disconnected lines what are they?

I removed my emissions a long time ago so I don't remember. I forgot if the lines I circled were or weren't suppose to be connected. It doesn't look right. Also is there anything else in there I CAN remove that you see? Also in pic 3 what is that spider thing and can any of it be removed?

In Pic #2 it looks like you have the brake proportioning valve circled. You do NOT want to remove that... unless you don't want any brakes.

Oh, and I agree with ^ Jim. He's right on.
