Found bolt on magnetic drain plug when draining oil pan

Well, I don't know if this is sabotage or if it came off inside the engine? A small bolt about 1/3 inch long, says M 8.8 on the bolt head. The bolt was stuck to the end of my magnetic drain plug when I drained the oil. I guess it's points for magnetic drain plugs in this case, it worked

Does this bolt look like something from inside the 4g63t engine?

Take off the valve cover and see if a bolt is missing anywhere on the valve train cam caps etc. I do not believe there is bolt like that anywhere n the bottom end but I could be wrong.

That's not an oem bolt. Looks like someone dropped a hardware store valve cover or oil pan bolt into the engine.

Yep, the 8.8 is an american measurement for strength. Definitely no a mitsubishi bolt.

It looks the CHRA bolts for my holset.
