Hey guys quick question. I was on the dsmlink forums and bought some brand new Ford 1600cc injectors from a fellow member on the board and a pretty good price. He told me that they would bolt right up, was this true? OR are there some modifications I have to do to them for them to fit? I have heard of people running them ( On E85, I will be running E85 also) but I haven't heard if they are direct bolt on. Thanks in advance.

well, i can't state for sure about them "bolting right up" but i do remember that the ford 2.3 liter turbo motor i built (last ford motor i messed with) had different sized injectors than the import common stuff. they were the same as the non-turbo 420a motor injector as far as style and dimensions.

I actually doubt they will fit, but compare them to your stockers and you'll know before proceding any further if you need to mod something for them to work. Actually i highly doubt they will bolt in the more i think about it, but with changes to what ford and other manufacturers use, you enver know.

Yea I've heard of some older FIC 1600's coming with the ford emblem on them. Idk if they are the same as the bosch injectors which I have heard of alot of people running. Thanks for the reply though.
