I need to know what internals i need for my 1g to install a turbo... if soemoen could help me out thanx... and anyhting else i need to knwo before installing a turbo on a n/t..Thanx:dsm:

Turbo pistons would be a good investment so detonation doesn't destroy your non-turbo pistons. All in all, if you don't have knock, you should be able to run a turbo without any sort of internal modifications.

I ran the stock n/t pistons. I only had knock when I turned up to 13lbs. Ran 10lbs daily. Maybe 2 or 3 times a week I would mess with 11lbs or 12. But I wouldn't go any higher. Real cold days I went to 13-14 no knock. But I wouldn't recomend anyone else doing that.
