Edmonton,
Ok, my turbo needs to be replaced (again).

So this time I decided to take the manifold off. I got all the bolts off except the right (drivers side) 14mm. I put my wrench on it, and started to undo the bolt.

However, I got too zealous, and undid the bolt so much it got stuck! How the hell do I get it the wrench out?? I can't tighten the bolt (no tool to put on it??, vice grips don't work, what should I do?), and the thing on the back of the ratchet won't turn (so I can't use it to loosen either).

Dammit! What should I do? Take off the AC pump? How do I do that? So stupid. :(

Otherwise I was making record time. FUK! Sorry :(

This sounds like one of those situations where you just have to use pure force to get it off. Always use open end in tight spots.

BS! :)

Check this madness out. I can't BELIEVE I did this :( It's stuck!

I can't brute force it, there's no place to put the force! It won't turn, the rear (where you pick tighten/losen, is useless).

Any tips? Anything? Please? :)

You mean the power steering pump, right? The talk about the AC compressor was throwing me off for a second :D. But I recommend what mitsuclipse said, just hit it with a hammer and keep trying. I've had a ratchet stuck on the exhaust manifold self-locking nuts before, and it was a pain to get it off. taking the PS Pump off might help give you more room, though! And you can see if you can make record time taking that off ;).

No, I don't like the hammer idea :) it wouldn't have gone anywhere.

I took off the Power steering pump! (oops, NOT THE AC PUMP!).

Phew. That sucked. Oh well, lesson learned, take your time, and DON'T USE STUPID RATCHETS!

Tsk tsk. What a newb mistake.
