For the love of God how do I get the passenger headlight out?!

My passanger head light will not come out. I removed the two rear bolts and the top bolt but I can't find any other bolts to remove. I tried searching and some say the bumper has to come off others say it don't etc. I thought the bumper can't come off unless the light is first removed. Anyways where is this bolt?! Is there just one more? Any pics helpful cause I'm not understanding anything and barely see anything with the supports radiator and crap in the way. Do I get it from the bottom of the car? Sneak in the inner side of the light? aaaaaaaaaaaaa

I'm trying to take it out cause my light is fogging up :thumbdown

The bolt is on the bottom of the headlamp. I removed mine when I did my fmic install, I dont see how else you can get to it without removing the bumper which can me removed without taking out the headlight first...

There is a bolt behind the marker light and a little tab that hooks to the headlight. To get the marker out you remove a screw right behind where the UICP goes through the fender. The marker should slide forward exposing your secret headlight bolt.

I got the top middle roll of bolts off, the bottom bolts, and the side splsh shields, what the hell else holds the bumper on Good practice for when I get a fmic

I'll go check that out. Thanks. Isn't the hidin bolt more towards the middle of the car like right next to the radiator? That where it feels like it's bolted down. The rest seems loose.

If I remove the smic will I see the bolt? I'm still kinda confused about what marker ur talking about. Is it the side marker? Of the very outside light of the head light? Thanks.

Well I removed a screw right next to the side marker that looks like it might have been connected to the headlights outside marker but it doesn't appear to be the one that I need. It still feel secured towards the bottom inner side of the headlight right next to the raidiator. Think if I remove the smic I'll get access to it?!

I just did mine this weekend. The bolt is pretty near the center of the headlamp. Try using a 1/4 drive ratchet with a long extension and a swivel bit on the end and force it between the bumper and light. You'll probably need a flash light and a bar of soap to rinse you're mouth out with by the time you're done cursing at it. Oh, try not to drop the socket in there or it's gonna stay there untill you get the light off.

So attack it from the under the car with what u said? What if I take the intercooler off? I might not have that swivel adapter.

do it from the front of the car. The only other option that I can see would be to cut out the duct work that's inside your front bumper and then you can see it from the bottom. You may be able to salvage the duct but I'm not sure, mines already gone so I can't tell if you could get to all the nessisary bolts.

you may be able to do it without the swivel but I doubt it. You can get one for cheap at a parts store I think, I just bought one the other day but I can't remember how much it cost.

$15 dollars on tools....12 hours later....several trips to the computer to find out where that bolt is and it's finally done. Now I just hope it doesn't get any more water in it....orelse I'll replace the whole damn light Thanks for the help.

BTW you don't have to remove the bumper to get it off.
