The push-button switch for my fog lights seems like it's broken. Instead of acting like a toggle switch, the fog lights only turn on if I hold the button in, like a momentary switch. Is this a common problem with an easy fix? If it is I'll go ahead and fix it, otherwise I'll just rip the fog lights out. I've never had a car with foglights anyway.

this problem just happened to me last week, the switch will not engage anymore. i am also looking for an answer to this.

Ok so I ended up breaking my switch somehow as I was trying to modify it. So I just cut the harness off and spliced the red and green together so the fog lights will always come on w/ the headlights.
Problem is now, driver's side foglight is burned out and I need a new one. Is this light a headlamp, where I just unplug something and replace a bulb? Or is it any entire sealed unit that I need to shells out big bucks for?
