Fog light rewire

Hi everybody.
I own a 2G GSX eclipse, and fog lights only turn on with low beams, as i flip down the switch once, to turn off low beams, so do the fog lights turn off, I heard that switching some wires in the switch gives an opportunity that fog lights will work with side lights.
Does anybody have some ideas which wires, or what to look for?

I have read all the Rewire tech write ups and I really dont like any of them.
I haven't looked through a wire diagram yet but maybe someone whos know a bit more then me can comment on this.

when the headlights turn on power to the switch for the fog light now has power so you can turn them on and off, is it possible to cut that wire and feed the dash switch a switched 12v from say the criuse control button. that way you can turn them on and off as you please but since its a switch power they will shut off when you turn off the car.

anyone else tried something like this?

I'm going to try this out over the weekend I'm just see if its already been tried
