I just bought the universal kit for the FMIC and it works just fine. You will have everything you need in a universal kit so you can go ahead and buy one and be worry free.

Or you can do more research and find out that a universal piping kit with just 90's might work out a little better ;)

Really? I thought mine worked out pretty well, I did not think that just 90 degree bends would do the trick, thats good to know. I do have a kit very similar to the kit shown and it does work as well, although I guess its not the only way to go.

Well I want something that looks clean, and relativly works with ease what would I be better off going with, Opinions?

I'll have to do a write-up for my piping I guess. A kit of 90's and a sawzall :thumb:

So which would you guys recommend a kit like the one I posted above or a kit with 90's like I have below? O and what size I see kits from 2.25-3"?

It's really up to you as to which piping kit you get. I think the first one looks better, being it has more types of angles, which will make for better fitment in certain places. I don't believe there is really much difference in "short" and "long" route piping for 420aT. Only thing I can see making a difference is if the compressor outlet is at the top, like on mine where the pipe hooks down, as opposed to the outlet being faced down already.

my compressor outlet faces downward, making the hot pipe much shorter, then of course the cold pipe from intercooler to throttle body. I've read about problems with people getting the universal kits with all types of angles and having pipes they can't use or what not...no problem with just my 90's, so don't see why it's not easier that way. oh yeah, 2.5" seems to be the way most of us go, any bigger than that and it will contribute to lag.
