Putting quality aside, I believe the perfect size of intercooler is going to depend on your setup. I've always planned on getting this intercooler kit. You can keep your bumper, read good things about them, and is a decent price.

I agree with Tran. My buddy has this FMIC and he's never ever had a prob with it and you dont have to cut the hell out of your stock bumper to get it in

Most fmic kits come setup for any kind of maf setup if its going the long route side to side but the cooler of my choice is always custom take your car toa good muffler shop and et them mandrel bend you the piping exactly how you want it and for cooler issues like tran said depends on what your looking for in the long run. hope this helps. Good Luck:thumb:

I just installed a FMIC from GREperformance.com it was very easy and fits like a glove. Josh has the best prices for the most part on the net for your DSM. He has the kits made up himself so everything is included and immaculate. He won't sell you anything you don't need. He uses top quality T-bolts, blue silicone couplers, and hardware. He uses a hybrid angled bar and plate intercooler that's built here in the good ole USA, the IC piping is powder coated and of excellent quality. By the way I bought the Street Strip FMIC kit, the race one requires cutting of the bumper. You will need to get a reciprocating saw, make two cuts then hammer the sheet metal back. You will need to get an different overflow tank, I got mine from DSMparts.com, then remove the power steering cooler and use the existing hose to reroute it. The hardest part for me was taking off the bumper, the rest was a breeze. I hope I helped you out. Tell Josh from GREperformance.com Brent told you about it.:rocks: :dsm:

For the power steering. You can cut the line that goes the the front. Cut it around the resivier, and take rubber hose and put it from one line to the other, than clamp it.

I would consider this intercooler. I have a intercooler from them, and I also know of a few friends who have purchased intercoolers from them. Niether my friends or I have any problems or complaint's. Also, as already stated, you can the intercooler with the 1g maf. You can order pipes for blow through, with the GM MAF as well.

Look for thier store on EBAY. That is where I puchased mine. Sometimes they have some good deals. I only paid $550 shipped with intercooler pipes for mine..

GREperformance.com's front mount kit looks exactly the same as Extreme's. Infact, they use the same pictures of the kit on both their sites.
