Has anyone used the 16G j-pipe which exits toward the passenger side with a short route fmic? I heard that the LICP can be hacked up to make this combo work, is this true?

Ideally it would be best to just use the j-pipe that exits toward the driver side, but then depending on which one you get there is probability for clearance issues with the fan shrouds on a 2g.

Thanks.

Just swap to a jpipe that exits towards the drivers side, it will make things much easier. If your running stock rad fans the clearance is very limited, though it may be doable with aftermarket slimlines. Otherwise your basically running the IC pipe under the cross member, which isn't a good idea.
