Hey guys just wondering how a fmic kit with 2g piping thats not designed from factory to work with teh elbo on the t25..

My question is how could i get the piping to work with teh t25 for now until i get a down firing turbo?

Also has anyone done anything with the SS Auto Chrome fmic kit for the 2g on Ebay? Looks like a pretty good kit but i thought i would ask you guys before i flushed 300..

I have a bT28 and with the piping for the dejon FMIC I had to hacksaw the elbow off, I removed the turbo from the car and used a VERY nice high tension hacksaw to do this. I also stuffed the inside with rags and doubeld up some dut tape to prevent shavings from entering the turbo when doing this. Its not quite a stragiht down approach but pretty close. Here is a pic from dejon tool on where to make the cut. http://dsm.dejonpowerhouse.com/edit/2-03_T25-cut.jpg Just be sure to leave enough on the turbo for a coupler and clamp to fit and grab ahold on.

Also the T25 will fall on its face with a FMIC at higher RPMs, my BT28 even with the 17PSI acuator falls off fast but I also live at 4200 ft elevation so its thinner air up here. Maybe you results will be different.

Yes, I've also heard some bad things about ssautochrome BUT only about their manifolds. But look at Pacesetter.......their manifolds crack too even though "Pacesetter" is supposed to be a company that makes quality parts. I've never heard anything bad about their ssautochrome intercooler kits. Read their feedback on them and you'll see what I mean. There are members on this site with their intercoolers and they seem happy as well.
The kit is very inexpensive. And what can really go wrong with a intercooler or the piping? I've never heard of piping cracking or whatever.
I dare anybody to prove me wrong:p

oh and the search reults from ssautochrome are not the greatest: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/search.php?searchid=1439585 I am a firm beliver of "mod cheap mod twice" some things from them may not be so bad, but from what I have heard..... buyer beware.

I have heard some nasty stuff about the dealer, from this site and a couple others. Just cheap mods....I look at xspower/ssautochrome like i do ebay reistors :notgood:

^ LOL. The only thing that makes it look a little sketchy is it just says.. Bov flange already welded. I sent them an email a couple of weeks ago asking what flange it is and never got a response... Maybe one of you guru's can look at it and tell me what it is. I'm thinking its a 1g but im still a novice at dsm's. I'm being spoon fed by you guys coming from an itr
