Hey guys, I'm gonna be getting a new FMIC next spring and I've seen both 1g and 2g kits. I've never really thought twice about it, but why are they different? Is it just because of the bumper and support differences that would have to be cut? If I bought a '1g FMIC,' shortpiping or not, would that fit my 2g? If it's any difference, the dimensions would probably be about 25x7x4..

If you buy a kit there will be a difference. In most 1g kits the ic exit pipes are straight back and will not work on a 2g due to the radiator supports and radiator itself being in the way. On a 2g you should use side exits or top to bottom as long as the outlets point straight out the sides and not to the back.

Ahh, that makes a lot of sense, I never really thought twice about the exits :p thanks
