flywheel/clutch combo question

My clutch went out a while back and I finally have the money to get a new one. I found this one on ebay with a fidanza flywheel and an exedy oem replacemnt clutch. would this be a good combination?

Becareful on ebay, as they look exactly as what they claim and they are a cheap imitation. There was just a big article in one of the tuner magazines on how there are some technicalities and stipulations on how these flea bay companies get away with this. Fidanza was mentioned along with tein and many more big names. I recommend buying parts from a reputable person here on tuners, dsm trader, or distributors of choice like extreme psi, slowboy, prostreet, etc etc. Few people around here locally fell victims of flea bay. Parts look exactly like the true manufacturer but with inferior materials. Go with a good ACT clutch and flywheel in my opinion.

Wow, that's an incredible price for products from 2 reputable companies IF it's legit. Almost sounds too good to be true. Like TurboChrged93 said, be wary. I don't know any guys running the Exedy on our cars but they make a good product, popular with Evo owners and many JDM cars.

Im pretty sure the exedy o.e. clutches are really cheap, so this price could be legit.

If your able to spend a little more i would highly suggest the ACT 2100 clutch and the ACT streetlight flywheel combo. I installed that and i am thrilled with the performance and feel of it. It can also handle a good bit more power than a stock one. I got that combo for $535 shipped and i am very happy i spent the extra money for a real quality product and now if i decide to go up in hp i wont have to worry about it not being able to support the added power.

Yeah man, if you can, save your money and get an ACT Clutch/Flywheel kit. If you can't afford that, just get the ACT clutch kit and have your flywheel resurfaced.

I agree completely! And when the exedy clutch state OE, they mean it! The stockers don't hold up to much abuse...
