You'll need to keep the crank from spinning somehow.

If you don't want to buy that tool, you can always insert a 1/2" ratchet between one of the crankshaft counterweights and the bridge of the main cap. This will keep the crank from spinning while you torque the flywheel bolts to spec, but of course, this method also requires the oil pan to be removed.
 
I just stuck a large philips screw driver through one of the holes in the flywheel and turned the flywheel til the screw driver jammed against the block.
