Fluid above spark plug

I pulled a plug wire out yesterday and there was fluid all in the cylinder above the spark plug. What could this be. The engine is a JDM with 25K on it and hasn't even ran probably since it came out of the last car. Do you think this could be anything serious or water just leaking in and what should I do?

It's probably oil. That's pretty common with DSM's. Just clean out the hole and replace your plugs.

That is likely signs of a bad valve cover gasket. Check the bolts holding on the cover for 2-4 ft. lbs of torque (or ever so slight past hand tight). If they are all tight, the plug well gaskets are shot, and should be replaced.
