FLORIDA Tires - for cars that sit

I'm in Florida this week, and the Highlander AWD needs new tires. The Original tires from 2021 are kinda rotting out.
235/55 R20

I know some of you live in Florida - Where can you get same day tires for a good price? Does anyone sell a tire that is better against rot prevention in this environment?

Discount Tire, or depending on whatever is near you any of the major/minor tire chains are good. Pepboys, etc.


Rot prevention is a losing game. The heat and salt in the air are gonna dry-rot tires in this environment. Only fix or prevention is to store the car in a climate controlled garage, ideally off the ground/no weight on the tires.

Also: why the f is everyone vacationing in Florida right now. Lol.

Thank you for the suggestions. I long for a "vacation" - this is not a vacation. Anyone here on vacation is probably really confused as to how it can be 85 deg and humid Sunday, and then drop to below 40's at night for 3 days.

Ahahahahahahaha, so true. It actually got in the 20's here in real Florida(the panhandle/NW Florida) the night before last. Was glorious.

You can come to Chicago where some areas got 14 inches of snow on Monday but its gonna be close to 70 by the weekend ...
