1G Flip ups are freaking out

Removed one headlight bucket and after reinstalling it. I turn the lights on and the headlights flip up and down several times instead of stopping in the up or down position right away.

Then they also oscillate instead of being in timed. Also, the head lights never turn on an omit light?

Any ideas?

Correction, headlights still omit light when I put the key in the ignition, but if I turn them on they oscillate 5-7 times up and down until they rest in odd ball positions. Adjusting the dials to match eachother does nothing.

They still end up in different spots once they are done putting on their circus show

Have you checked the relays for the pop ups? Mine used to self adjust 4-5 times everytime i used my headlights

Does it still do it if you use the dash switch and not the stalk on the steering column?
