Someone posted a link to these on the link forums. I don't like to mess around when it comes to something as important as fuel but these things are seriously peaking my interest. I always wondered why the hell do some injectors cost so much when in reality they probably all cost the same if not very close to make. WIth FIC 2150's at $780 and ID2000's at like $1k these right off the bat come across as cheap POS injectors but once I started reading(as long as the seller isn't bsing) these injectors fir the bill with most of the needs of most guys buysing ID2000's and the new FIC 2150's. Anyone else hear anything or read about these?

4 - Fiveo "Asphalt" 2000cc Fuel Injectors Toyota, Mazda : eBay Motors (item 370269157919 end time Jan-30-10 11:18:27 PST)

Doesn't sound too bad but it's still Ebay. Try to get a spray pattern picture from him to see how well they atomize. I'm curious to know what they meant by "single-hole modified disc". If you want to be a guinnie pig and get them, do some testiing for us :)

This is the only info I have on them. This is quoted from and injector dynamics blog

"This retard is not the first to use suspiciously familiar ad copy on his website.

It's been done before by a slimy little bastard named Bruce Holt from Five-O Motorsports. When he first released his EV-14 based 1000cc injector the description on his website was chock full of cute little engineering terms that looked suspiciously like my own ad copy.

I guess he thought if he didn't understand it, no one else would and so people would think he was offering some technologically advanced stuff.

I obsessed over this for a while and after fighting the urge to get my hands around his slimy little neck I called my pal Ricardo from AUS Injection to get his take on the situation.

Since Ricardo sells a lot of injectors to Bruce I thought he may be able to tell me just who I was dealing with.

He seemed to think that it was unintentional so I sent Bruce a polite cease and decist letter making my case, describing copyright infringement, and asking him to remove the offending text from his site and ebay listing.

And here was the slimy bastards response;
http://www.injectordynamics.com/slimybastard.jpg

So why the harsh words after receiving his response?

Because as of this writing some of it still exists on his ebay ad, and until just a few weeks ago it was used on his website to describe nearly every injector being sold. And it's been nine months!

And so interestingly enough when Tony called out the retard Ramey on the Honda Tech forum his answer to the ad copy issue was that he received that info with the injectors.

Sounds a lot like Bruce's response doesn't it?

And the picture? The story is that he asked his web guy to find a picture of an EV-14 injector to use for the ad, and he didn't know it belonged to Tony.

The funny thing is that the 2000cc "EFI Wizzard" (Wizard?) injector is not an EV-14. In fact it's not even a Bosch injector!

Based on the pictures posted by Chris Miller, who is the "us distributor for EFI wizzards" (Oh Shit, now it's plural and I'm even more confused...) it is clearly based on a Denso injector and appears to be exactly the same injector that the slimy bastard Bruce Holt has been selling as the Asphalt II injector.

In fact it looks just like the one my pal Ricardo from AUS injection sent me to test for him nearly a year ago.

Oddly, this injector disappeared from the slimy bastards website, right about the time that EFI Wizzard (EFI Wizard?) appeared on the scene.

So where are these things coming from? According to Chris Miller they are comng from the UK.

In any case, I supose that's a mystery that doesn't need to be solved. At least not for now.

What it comes down to is this.

Anytime some dumb #### like Ramey spouts bullshit about an EFI Wizard or any other brand of injector we will be there to point out the obvious which normally amounts to this;

Some moron working out of his moms garage has decided to sell injectors and knows absolutely nothing about them, but is happy to tell eveyone why they are better than Injector Dynamics injectors."

YEah I read that but you know what I got from this other than obvious....never does he actually talk about the performance of the asphalt 2 injector. This actually made me not want to go with ID2000's anyway because who goes and calls a guy a retard on a public blog:notgood: Not just the fact that retard is not PC but the fact that it's unprofessional.

ANyway like I said he said he got a set to test but never talks about the results:aha: maybe because even though this guy may not know what he's talking about that these injectors actually work the way they're suposed to. If I sold injectors for $1K I would be mad if someone was selling something that worked similar for less than half too.

I'm pretty sure Tony Palo was the one who wrote this blog. A guy I do some work with talks to him pretty frequently and I'll ask him to ask Tony about the performance.

edit: i did notice that as well though

New 1000cc injectors!! Fiveomotorsport - Page 3 - NASIOC
Found this guy who got a set from fiveomotorsport and said they weren't perfect but ran and idled fine and even posted a video. Again in this thread you can see Tony posting his dislike for the injectors but yet without having any hard info to back it up except that he used his words.

After talking on the phone with bruce for about half and hour to 45 minutes picking his brain and seeing what him and fiveomotorsport were about, I ordered a set of the Asphalt 2 and seeing what him and fiveomotorsport were about, I ordered a set of the Asphalt 2 injectors and EV6 wireless connectors to adapt to our stock wiring all for $480 shipped. I guess I will be the test rat but to be honest I'm not worried...TPG is tuning the car guess I will be the test rat but to be honest I'm not worried...TPG is tuning the car guess I will be the test rat but to be honest I'm not worried...TPG is tuning the car

No compromise eh?

By the way guys I went searching on the Honda forums like it said to do to find these people that didn't like them and this is what I found

New injector upgrade EFI wizard 2000cc - Page 2 - Honda-Tech

In a nut shell everyone liked them....hmmmm seems like someone is just a little ass hurt that someone sells a injectors for half the price that people like.

it seems like it. LMK how they work out as I may be purchasing a set if they are good

WIll do but to be honest I'm not the best test dummy as I'm building my car from the ground up and still have a bit left to do before I"m ready to really test these things. I can speak on fitment and show the data that comes with them as soon as they get here though.
