Mods are listed in my profile. Plus I have a 255, aeromotive afpr, and safc-2 that are not listed in my profile because they have not yet been installed. I'm waiting to buy injectors because I think I'm going to sell the safc and by DSMlink instead. This way I won't have to upgrade again when I move on to a big boy turbo.

But I need something for now until I have a built 6 bolt worthy of the turbo from my dreams. So which do you guys think, 14b or 16g. I have researched plenty about both, and at first the 16g seemed to good to pass up. But then I realized a good 14b can be had for $200. I started to think that maybe I should just get one of those and use the extra $350 to the start of my 6 bolt.

I absolutely love my car and plan on keep it around for a very long time. I know I will outgrow the evo III, so is it worth my time and money. Or should I just get a 14b to hold my over. All opinions are welcome. Also, I do plan installing an ebay ic core and DIY piping when I install the new turbo.

Get a 14b if you plan on upgrading sooner, slower now but saves more money in the long run.

Get the 16g if you want to have some fun and dont mind waiting that little extra time for the difference.

Why not hold off on the turbo, if you are only buying it with plans of upgrading it sooner or later. You could put the money you would have spent on a relatively smaller turbo toward DSMLink, and external wastegate setup, FMIC, injectors, etc.

Get all the supporting modifications first, then go all out with your turbo. Do it once, and do it right!

I agree with him ^^^^. :thumb:

Get an EVO 16g and have fun with that. As you add the other parts use it to break them in. That little turbo will get you in the area of 380-400 with the right mods. That much hp can be fun while you build. It is what I am doing. I have a FP 2.3 stoker with a ported EVO III. Yes I know that I am maxing out this turbo, but it is what came with the engine. My next upgrade is a large turbo, but I am having a lot of fun with this.
