thats a lot of TIMING ADVANCE it seems liek your 02 is low but you are not gettin knock
how does hte car perform. it seems okay cept for was this on race gas or pump.. it doesnt seem right ot have that much timming advance maybe im worng but it looks okay other than the 02 being a little low

Its on pump gas and I agree that Is a ton of timing advance compared to others. Does anyone have an Idea on how to get that advance down?

try adding some fuel from 5500 to redline. since thats whre you stat to get over 21 degrees of timming that should richen up your 02's also to around .92v where they should be

Well you can add boost, which will lower the timing. Liquordrunks log looks perfect, why would you want to lessen the timing, timing makes power. You can also retard the base timing. I would just add boost to be honest and see if you still get any knock. .88 on the O2s is excellent.

Dont push the 14b past 20psi...I think thats quite good dont you. If you were only running 15 psi this would be a differen story but we dont want to go out of the efficiency range of the 14b. id say your running pretty damn good. I bet that car feels great when you launch. Have fun!

I just ordered a TO4B for the car. I am going to install it with my new intake and I ordered all new vacume hoses and a new exhaust gasket. I hope that my 550 injectors will hold out for a little while. Cant wait to feel the difference between it and my 14b. Thanks for all the responses here is my latest log from today.

Does the timing decrease because the efficency of the turbo decreases at that high of boost at above 6000 rpms.

Turn the boost up.. i seen my buddy personally run a 14b at 25lb on a supra side mount. i say if your not getting knock keep leaning it out or turning the boost up

The stock ecu timing map is set to decrease timing up top. I would definitely add more boost with that timing. I would ad a few lbs and see where your timing and knock is. I say if you can get 21-23 degrees up top with no knock then thats where the boost should be set at. You have plenty of room for more boost, so turn it up!

Wait a minute. Am i the only that realizes this guy probably has a stock head gasket. At 21psi on a 14b, I'd say thats enough, maybe 2 more if ported and clipped. Prevention or cure. Your choice!!
