First dsm budget build

Just getting started one my first dsm build amd thought i would keep yall posted on how its going. First of all i dont have alot of money i have a wife and a baby and a bew house payment so this will be about the best budget build you have ever seen. I will post pics when i get to a computer.

1. Car: 96 eclipse gst white........$500
Has spun rod bearing. So i do some checking and apparently evo9 pistons and rods are some what forged and a better design not to mention they drop right in so,
2. Evo 9 pistons and rods (used) $120
Then i hear 95 and 96 are bad for crank walk. Amd the best way to fix it is a new crank. Again research
3. Evo 9 crank (brand new).....$200

Now im to the point where im waitn on it all to get here already have the head, oil pan, and #4 piston off the car. Thats it for now... O yea and it will be up and running by monday or tuesday hopfully. My plans are to just get it running then ill do the head and start modding

Ive also ordered a full gasket set, new rings, new rods and mains, new timing belt amd watr pump, balance shaft delete.....$200

Good choice with the evo 8/9 rods/pistons they can handle some beating.

you got that shell for a steal very nice, as long as the body is good.

I will post pics as soon as i get to a computer... Body is pretty good one or two small dents and tree sap but no big deal im big in paint and body. Ima go black on black with it black pint, black windows, black lights black wheels black interior black everything
