Well here goes.
I recently changed my tranny fluid to syncromesh.
Now 2 weeks later, it's doing this odd thing.
if I put it in neutral, let off clutch, and try to put it in 1st, it has a constant grind, like I cant even shove it in because it feels like a gear is just spinning.
If I go into second then first it doesn't do it.
What's going on?

If you look when I first made my post in October, my trans lasted until just this month.

You have time bub!

Funny, now I'm a transmission expert.

Not replacing it now will only cause my new clutch to wear down faster. I would rather go on and get a new tranny now, then wait for it to go completely and have to order a new clutch setup as well. $1250.00 for a stage 2 Tre isn't all that bad.

Yea I was stuck on the side of the road with a broken one now I have tons of tranny parts and cases...But i just put a 2g turbo tranny in and it was smooth as butter...till it came loose and broke a tab off the block:toobad:

i have the same problem its from just ware and tare my advice is to change your first gear synchro it will be like brand new
