If I'm not mistaken I your mounting it in the trunk you must have a firewall of at least .028 thickness. Also if your battery is going to be mounted back there it must be in a sealed box with a vent tube leading outside, with an outside safety off/on switch clearly labeled. I may be wrong on the thickness for the firewall. Maybe someone who races often could chime in

Yea i have a vented box and a shut off switch just wasn't sure on the firewall part thanks!

Looks really good!!! Hope it passes tech, what i would do though is put another cross bar between the two vertical bars going from struts to the hoop, you want lots of triangles?

Is it a mild steel cage or is it a moly cage? Tube thickness? Did you use 6x6 1/8 thick floor plates? The plates that connect your hoop to the back seat plate look a little small. Just asking cause I'll be doing this sooner than later

Thanks! And it's mild steel and I can't remember thee thickness right off head but I used 6x6 1/8 thick floor plates and the back plate is 6x6 I just had to weld the pipe a little high that's probably why it looks like that in the picture
