WOW, all I can say is WOW! Your car is definitely awesome. Gonna have to show this to some of my friends to remind them of the insane power of a modded DSM. If you are ever in Va, send me a pm.
 
Very impressive results. that 50 shot gained you a ton of hp on the dyno... makes me wonder what my 150direct port shot will do on mine.

great numbers, awesome car... another great example of how sweet these cars are!

what knd of ARF and timing do u run on the pump, and what AFR do u run on the C16. Sweet ass car man is my favorite on here.

If you watch the video you can see his AFR on the C16 run is a rock solid 12.5 to 1. Huge congrats on the numbers Jake and can't wait until you get back over here so I can film you and Blue Bawlz duking it out.

evil_eagle - If i remember correctly werent you spining this motor much higher than the 8,800 rpm that im watching in the dyno vid? I thought you were going to like 9,500k?

On the track I spin it up to 9500rpm in 1st gear, 2nd gear 8800rpm and 3rd gear 8700rpm then run 4th out.

And as far as the wide band A/F ratio, my wideband sensor is deader then hell right now, so it was more less in the mid 11's on the A/F. I couldn't do too much adjustments on the fuel map cause of this. New sensor did not show in time for the dyno.
 
dam sick numbers man, must be insane to ride in. just think of it this way, youre halfway from sheps territory, not many a dsmer comes close to being able to say that. i was quarter away from sheptitude and i shit my pants.

Ah ok. Where does your power peak at ? Probably around the 8,800 rpm mark. Just wondering though.

well thats the weird part, on pump gas the power never fell off till I let off the gas, so around 8500rpm it was still climbing. Now on race gas with more boost it was starting to fall at 8300rpm. I think I found the restriction in my car, the exhaust. As I turned the boost up I noticed the power would start falling above 8000rpm. The more boost I went the worse it got.

But majority of the runs peak power was around 7000rpm+ On my 604whp run with no nitrous the hp would kinda level out from 7000-9000, that leads to tell me that the exhaust is choking it down. But at 6000rpm I was still making 550whp and still climbing.
 
Its awsome that the factory 2nd gen manifold even went this far. A tubular exhaust manifold in your near future ? How about your o2 Housing, I know your using the 2.5 inch, maybe its also time to upgrade to a 3 inch.

Do you think you will be changing your shift points seeing that your car makes the same power from 7,000-9,000 rpm?

Btw, your dyno plot for the pump gas run looks very nice!

Honestly I think I will keep my shift points the same, as when I get back into gear I am right at peak TQ. So it makes a good solid shift point for me. Funny thing is I never feal the power drop off above 8000rpm. The car feals like it would pull to 10,000rpm.

I am going to play around with the timing map above 8000rpm and see if I can get it to level out alittle better on high boost. Pump gas is just about dead perfect from looking at the dyno plot. But like I have said, the higher the boost level I went the more the power would start to nose over after 8000rpm. There are alot of things that I am going to try out this year. I am sure if I disconnect the down pipe it will pick up alot above 8000rpm at higher boost levels.

I will allways keep this car street legal, I will be driving to and from the tracks with the hoosier quick time pro's on and all LOL. What fun is it if you can't drive it on the street?:thumb:
