I've been reading this site for quite a while and everyone here is super smart and full of knowledge. Before I ask a quick question I want to thank eveyone that has been posting and answering my questions before I can ask them.

Question: I will be doing the free mods and getting my logging software very soon. Until then, What boost should I be running just driving around town and what boost should i be running at the track? I did search but every setup is different.

mods:
all stage 1 and stage 2 mods including
20g turbo
walbro 255
550 injectors
hks afr
act-2100

any help will be greatly appreciated and I hope to see some of you this summer at new england!

Everyone here is smart? That's debatable.

Anyway, like you said every setup is different. If it were me I'd set it at 16 for daily driving and probably around 20 for racing.

I was giving some people the benefit of the doubt. That's what I thought, around 15 for street but wasnt too sure on how far I could go at the track.

looking at this post did i miss something about the 2100? or should I have gone ceterforce and hope that i dont blow that w/in 10k miles?

"AWD 2600...why?
with a 2100 u wount be able to get out of the hole quick enough. Sometimes it will slip not being able to hold that much pressure for tyin to launch all that weight

FWD 2100...why??
with a 2600, you will be breaking driveline parts on a FWD for no reason. A 2100 is way less harsh than a 2600 and since youll be launching a FWD istead of AWD you dont need that extra harsh power. Itll be easier to feather out the 2600 is almost impossible"

Well, that was coming from someone with an AWD car.

He has a good theory. IMHO, I'd rather have the better clutch and just learn to slip it well. I know two owners of FWD cars who've had to replace their worn 2100 in less than one year with only a few track visits each. :| They have both had better luck with the 2600.

Just what I've seen. I have to admit that I have no firsthand experience with it.
