I just purchased this 1g dsm a month ago. I'm just now digging into it.
Its got a rebuilt JDM in it. The guy I got it from did not do the work. He was not sure if the engine was stroked and I don't know how to tell either. It has wiesco pistions. Is there something I can do to figure out if it was stroked? I just don't know how to go about trying to figure it out. It'd be nice to not have to tear it apart to find out. I personally dismissed the thought when he brought it up when I purchased it. But after driving it around a bit..I believe it is defiantly possible.

use a 12 inch long 1/4 extention, roll the engine up to TDC, mark it, then roll the engine to BTC, and mark it then measyre the diffrence, and thet will get you close...
