Just seeing if anyone else is having jumpy afr idle issues and very light throttle issues ie cruising part throttle and you can feel the car running along , but lighting breaking up here and there when using fic bluemax 1250cc injectors

car as been tuned professionally by a very well know shop

No personal experience, but I've been researching large injectors for a couple of months, and I've heard a significant number of part throttle and cruise issues with BlueMax injectors.

Yeah me too and the funny thing is FIC claims the blue max series was designed to get rid of the idle and part throttle issues. Go figure

bluemax is a low z? Like stock resistance, correct? Surprised you're having issues. Cleaned and tested lately?

They are brand new , maybe 2000 miles on them. and the tank was dropped and cleaned cause the car sat for 3 years so old gas , plus the sock on the filter was in pieces Its all new lines , new fuel lab filter. In fact ran system for first 500 miles on stock evo 8 injectors , then swapped in the fic 1250. My tuner did said he didnt like them for the issues I am having. He warned me before I even noticed the issue. I am at 85 IDC . I going to get rid of them and looking at going to ID2000's or Pte1600cc. I have always had good luck with pte injectors big and small.

blue max are a low z . I believe stock ohm.

I've never had any issues with things like this on any Blue-max injectors till up to about 1550cc and then it was just at Idle in Older 95 pre ECU's only as they could really in some cases use a Better Injector Driver...

The 1600 are going to be worse than anything... They are about any where you get them a Injector for LNG.

If you go larger go Hi-z ID 2000's or FIC 2150's Some of the smaller 1600ish range hi-z injectors have issues with Non-Linear Fuel flow as fuel Temp gets higher.

Okay good to know , Maybe I got a bad set that weren't matched as good as the paper work said they were. I know I heard 2 people so far had a set of fic blue max and 3 were within 1% of each other and one was almost 15% difference as far as cc's go. I know when building a high horse power car you are going to sacrifice some drivabilty issues . ID2000's are so freakin expensive :( Then again whats another 1000 with how much Ive spent already LOL
