Hi guys questions for you. Is anyone running FIC 1680CC Hi-z injectors on pump gas? Everyone I see is using E85. The reason I ask is because I am trying to get my car started for the first time on Pump gas and it will start briefly and then die. I am thinking it's just to much gas, and I should switch over to E85 because that was my plan when I bought the injectors anyway. Tunning is Jackal, deadtimes were provided from fic, fuel setup is twin 255's, -6an tank to rail, and a buschur afpr.

I just picked up some of these but havent used them yet. I would say the injector is not the problem. they should idle just fine on 93. they can be idled like stock on evo x.

See that's what I thought but then I read that the 1gs have older injector drivers. Compared to the Evo and 2g ecu. That's why I was thinking I should try e85 since that's what I originally intended to do

These are the deadtimes that I was provided. I'm not sure what global equates to on jackal.

what is your injector part number? my dead times look substantially different from the set I just bought. at 3.0bar 8/10/12/14/16v = 2.70/1.78/1.30/.99/.75ms flow at 3bar 1578cc. I only got voltage offset from 4 points 3/4/5/6 bar.
always wonder how accurate these test machines are. hard to believe we have the same injector.

I just ordered mine, running a dual pump hanger as well and will be running 93. Keep us posted and I will do the same once I install them. I don't think it's the fuel though it is something in the tune.

Okay thanks. the new ones I have are IS126-1650H. I had a chance to buy some older ones like you have and decided against them. many people had problems with those. so I called jens and asked him what the deal was. he said the injectors can swell if the fuel gets hot. causes inconsistent fuel flow and hot start problems.

Hey guys just wanted to update this I figured out my issue. I had to adjust my CAS, once it was adjusted the car started right up and settled into a nice idle. I didn't have the chance to idle it for long though. This was using jackal and on 93
