FIAV mod

Just wanted to say thanks to spawn87 did the FIAV mod due to having a high cold start idle and it fixed it! I didn’t bottom out the adjustment I think I did 4 full turns currently sits right at around 1000 rpms in cold start. Thanks again, highly recommend this process if your having this issue.

Note, I did have to adjust the idle screw (BISS) afterwards because once at running temp it had a very low idle. (Counter clockwise to increase rpm).

Maybe not bottoming it out is the ticket, because I have a 1g here with the FIAV deleted and it is without question the worst mod to these cars I have ever experienced.

I never noticed a difference in the world with my FIAV bypassed (not deleted). Now that’s not to say everyone will observe the same in their situation, I’ve seen other scenarios where the car wasn’t happy without it. I personally prefer the bypass plate that allows use of the ISC but disables the FIAV itself, going this route I’ve never had any start up or drivability issues.
